SUMMARY:Saturday Morning Shabbat Service
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday mornings, Har Zion has a traditional Shacharit service using a variety of traditional, modern, cantorial, and Hassidic melodies. The service is usually lead by Rabbi Glick and Cantor Figa, with our executive director and Torah reader for more than 20 years, Charles Shapera, reading Torah. A member of the congregation generally chants haftarah.\nThis week the parashat is Vayigash and the Haftarah Reader is Hai Solomon.\nShabbat ends with Havdalah, which is usually celebrated at home.
