SUMMARY:Stop the Bleed + Overdose Response Training
DESCRIPTION:\nThis nationally-recognized training teaches laypeople to act untill emergency medical providers arrive to stop severe bleeding or treat an overdose.\n\n\n\nUncontrolled bleeding and opioid overdose are among the top preventable causes of death today. Participants will engage in hands-on training to hold pressure, pack a wound, apply a tourniquet, and administer rescue naloxone nasal spray. Participants successfully demonstrating these skills will receive a Stop the Bleed certificate of completion.\nUnder 18 welcome with parental consent.
