Family Volunteer Day at The Ark
The Ark is a not-for-profit, community-funded, social service agency that “creates a safety net for Chicagoland Jews in need of help … and kindness. It works with each person or family in distress to create a unique and comprehensive care plan that draws upon The Ark’s wide array of free social and medical services.” The Ark is a partner of the Chicago Jewish United Fund, JUF. (The description is from the JUF’s Jewish Chicago magazine.)
On Sunday, November 16, please join others from the Har Zion family to volunteer at The Ark.
Send email to Har Zion Director of Education David Schwartz, dschwartz@wsthz.org, or Alison Newman, akrnewman@aol.com, for details or to sign up.
