2026 Annual Refugee Shabbat

The Keovanpheng family from Laos discover America.
Please join us for National Refugee Shabbat at Saturday services, March 14. Join us to welcome Celine Woznica, a member of the leadership team of the Oak Park Migrant Ministry, which assists displaced persons with food, basic necessities, and local resources.
Also, in the spirit of an extended Har Zion anniversary celebration, we are going back to 1983 when we sponsored the Keovanpheng family from Laos. Come hear their story, the story of what we did to support them, and how they have fared since then.
We will also have the opportunity to enjoy Musical Shabbat with the Har Zion Davening Team, and there also is a Tot Shabbat and Junior Congregation.
All services are in person and streaming. Click here for more information, including parashat, candle lighting and havdalah, streaming information, and links to an online siddur.
If you need the password to attend by Zoom, please email (office@wsthz.org) or call (708-366-9000) the temple office during regular office hours.
