
The Book of Ruth
The Book of Ruth (in Hebrew מְגִלַּת רוּת, Megillath Ruth, “the Scroll of Ruth”, one of the Five Megillot), is the story of Naomi and her daughter-in-law Ruth. Naomi and Ruth return to Bethlehem after the deaths of their husbands, where Ruth marries Boaz and becomes the great grandmother of King David.
Har Zion member Kate Oxsen, PhD is teaching a series of 4 classes on the Book of Ruth, beginning in July.
Classes meet virtually on Thursday evenings from 8-9pm on July 10, July 24, August 7, and August 21.
