Erev Tisha B’Av Movie, Ma’ariv, and Eicha
Tisha b’Av, the ninth day of the Jewish month of Av, is a fast day and a day of mourning for tragedies that occurred in Jewish history, including the destruction of the First and Second Temple about 2,000 years ago.
There are two observances:
Erev Tisha B’Av: 7pm, Monday, August 12: In person only; at Oak Park Temple. Movie Legend of Destruction about the fall of the 2nd Temple, followed by Ma’ariv and reading of Eicha.
Tisha B’Av: 8am, Tuesday, August 13: In person and Zoom; at Temple Har Zion. Tisha B’Av observance with Morning Minyan.
