Friday in the Foyer Kabbalat Shabbat Service

Join us at 6:00pm each Friday to welcome Shabbat “up close” with family and friends in Har Zion’s beautiful foyer. On comfortable couches and chairs under the colorful Engen Tapestries, our voices will blend together in prayer and song in the intimate hamish space. See you there!

Lighting Shabbat Candles

Lighting Shabbat candles is an important part of the Friday evening Shabbat service, and, starting April 18, 2025, you will have the opportunity to light Shabbat candles before the service. Please note: When Kabbalat Shabbat coincides with a special service, we will be in the sanctuary, and our starting time will be 6:30pm.
