Welcome Hanukkah with a Musical Kabbalat Shabbat Service with Pre-Service Snacks and Socializing!

Bringing the Light and Songs of Hanukkah!

It’s a very special Friday service this week, as we welcome Hanukkah, which starts on Friday evening, December 12!

• First, beginning at 5:30pm (as usual for winter Kabbalat Shabbat services) on this Friday, we are meeting for snacks and socializing. (Including kid-friendly options.)
• Then, starting at 6pm, a half hour later than usual the service usually starts, the Har Zion davening team will bring the light of Hanukkah our vibrant Friday night services. Participants sing, dance and revel in lively renditions of popular religious tunes. These services are the perfect way to start Shabbat—and to prepare for Hanukkah.

All Musical Shabbat service are best experienced in person, but they are streamed, as are all Har Zion services.
