Age-Appropriate Services for Preschool Children & Service and Supervision for Kindergarten/1st-6th Grade School Children
Services for Preschool Children:
- Rosh Hashanah Day 1: Tuesday, September 23, 2025 • 1 Tishrei 5786, 10-10:45am Service
- Yom Kippur: Thursday, October 2, 2025 • 10 Tishrei 5786, 10-10:45am Service
A parent or other responsible adult must attend the Camp Shana Tovah services with their preschool children.
Childcare for Ages 18 months to 5 years:
To supplement Camp Shana Tovah services for preschool children, 18 months to 5 years of age, Har Zion has professional childcare—offered by teachers from Temple Har Zion’s Early Childhood Education program—available during all High Holy Day services.
Register for Childcare (18mos – 5yrs)
A registered parent or other responsible adult must remain at the temple at all times while their preschool children are in our care.
Kindergarten/1st-6th Grade children:
We suggest that the parents/guardians of school-aged children take them to the main services at about 10:45am so they can hear the Shofar.

A parent or other responsible adult must remain at the temple at all times when their school-aged children are attending Camp Shana Tovah.
