Khanike (Hanukkah) Celebration with Mameloshn
Hanukkah Party: Or rather, Khanike Party
Featuring the local Yiddish Singing Group MameLoshn.
Sunday, December 21, two programs:
- Beginning at 4:30pm, a shorter celebration aimed at children—up to middle school—and their special adults.
- Beginning at 6pm, a program for adults and teens.
For both programs, we will do the following:
- Sing Hanukkah songs with MameLoshn.
- Light Hanukkah candles–bring your menorah and candles—it’s the eighth night!
- Eat a latke, salad, and sufganiyot (jelly donuts) dinner, and drink cider,
- Enjoy Hanukkah gelt, play dreidel, and make Freylach (have fun!).
