Khanike (Hanukkah) Celebration with Mameloshn

Hanukkah Party: Or rather, Khanike Party

Featuring the local Yiddish Singing Group MameLoshn.

Sunday, December 21, two programs:

  • Beginning at 4:30pm, a shorter celebration aimed at children—up to middle school—and their special adults.
  • Beginning at 6pm, a program for adults and teens.

For both programs, we will do the following:

  • Sing Hanukkah songs with MameLoshn.
  • Light Hanukkah candles–bring your menorah and candles—it’s the eighth night!
  • Eat a latke, salad, and sufganiyot (jelly donuts) dinner, and drink cider,
  • Enjoy Hanukkah gelt, play dreidel, and make Freylach (have fun!).
Freylach–Fun–for all!
