KRS Family School
Koven Religious School Family School is (generally) the first Sunday of the month, in conjunction with sessions of Koven Religious School (KRS). For KRS parents (and often also the students). Parents are encouraged to join Family School both to further their Jewish education and to create community within KRS. The topics for Family School are different each month.
Family School, 9:30-10:00am, first Sunday of the month (generally), and for Koven Religious School Parents only unless otherwise stated.
Family School is in person only and registration is not required.
Topics for the 2025-2026 academic year; all programs are for KRS parents, often with the KRS students.

- Nov 2: Textplorations (Ramah) (9:30am), Sunday Scholar: Alan Mintz on “Early American Jewish History” (10:15pm) (open to all)
- Dec 7: Jewish Children and Family Services program, JCFS, jcfs.org
- Jan 11: SHALVA , shalva.org (Inspiring hope. Changing lives. Shalva leads the way the world understands, cares for and embraces disability.)
- Feb 1: Mishnah Study (First written collection of the Jewish oral traditions, also known as the Oral Torah.)
- Mar 22: Family Service
- April 19: Israel (9:45am)
- May 3: Jewish Children and Family Services program, JCFS, jcfs.org
