Shavuot at Har Zion

Har Zion observes Erev Shavuot—June 11 this year—with a joint program with Oak Park Temple. Click here for the program for Erev Shavuot for 5784/2024.

Temple Har Zion also observes the 1st and 2nd day of Shavuot—June 12-13 this year—at Har Zion with the following:

• The temple office is closed.
• 10 AM Holiday Services; on the second day of Shavuot, the service includes Yizkor.

(When the holiday falls on a weekday or Sunday, there is a 10 AM, in person holiday morning service instead of Shohet Daily Minyan. (These services are also available on Zoom, using same the Zoom ID and siddur as the Shabbat morning services.) When the holiday falls on a Saturday, the observance is included in the Shabbat morning service.)
