Repentance: Selichot Program, Dessert, and Musical Service
The last Shabbat in the month of Elul, Selichot signals the beginning of the High Holy Days season. Our musical offering features a five-piece ensemble that provides accompaniment to the contemplative liturgy of the season.
This year’s Har Zion Selichot evening has a theme of Repentance. It is observed on Saturday evening, September 13:
- Program on Repentance, 7pm,
- Dessert, 7:30pm, and then
- Havdalah, service, and concert at 8pm.
Weather permitting, we will be on the Solomon Terrace for part of the evening. Please register (below) if you are coming to the dessert portion of the programming.
It will be particularly meaningful if you can come in person to appreciate the music first-hand, but the talk and service will also be livestreamed on Facebook, YouTube, and Zoom ID 814 4591 5201.
