The current STAR Programming for December 2025 is as follows:
December 4: Our speaker is Mike (Maish) Bass, who will speak with us on “Reflections on 35 Years of MameLoshn, Oak Park’s Yiddish Song Group. How we came into being, what we’ve done, and what we’re doing.”
December 11: A chance to schmooze and perhaps a movie or special guest
December 18: A chance to schmooze and perhaps a movie or special guest
December 25: Christmas, a national holiday, STAR does not meet
Please let us know what programming you would like STAR to offer. Together, we make it what we want it to be. Email Sandra Sokol at sandrasokol@sbcglobal.net if you have any questions or to offer ideas.
STAR is a joint program with Har Zion and Oak Park Temple, but is open to all seniors.
