Summer is over and religious school is about to start —
So it’s time for the Annual Har Zion Community Back-to-Shul BBQ!
All activities are on the terrace/lawn, weather permitting. All are welcome! Invite your family, friends, and neighbors!
Friday, August 28, has something(s) for everyone!
✡︎ At 5pm, Shabbat on the Lawn for all children ages 1-7 with their special adults; lead by Ms. Claudine and Rabbi Glick; at 5:30pm. In person only, no registration.
✡︎ At 5:30pm, Back-to-Shul BBQ for everyone, members, friends, neighbors, preschool families, KRS families….All are welcome! In person only; register here.
✡︎ At 6:30pm, Musical Service. And finally everyone is invited to stay for the Musical Kabbalat Shabbat on the Terrace. There will be music, singing, dancing, and inspiration! Streaming and in person.
Registration is required for the BBQ, so we can figure out how much food to prepare. You do not need to register for either of the services—Shabbat on the Lawn for young children and the Kabbalat Shabbat for everyone (including children!). But why come for the service(s) and not also enjoy a yummy, fun, Shabbat meal with old—and new—friends? So please register and join us!

The late afternoon fun begins with an age-appropriate (less than 7 years old or so), 30-minute service led by Ms. Claudine. Say Adieu to summer and camp! Sing songs! Hear stories!
Come meet new and returning preschool families, teachers, clergy, and more! Join the fun!

✡︎ 6:30pm—Friday Night Kabbalat Shabbat service on the Terrace
After dinner, everyone is invited to join the congregation to experience Friday Night Shabbat service on the Solomon Terrace. You and your children can stay as long as you would like (and feel free to leave when you and yours want!)!
