Thursday Learning with Rabbi Glick
Join Rabbi Glick on Thursday mornings to learn more about Judaism. The topics vary—important people and events in Jewish history, or Jewish beliefs and philosophy.
This year, during Omer, which by ancient tradition we start counting on the second day of Passover, for seven times seven days to Shavuot, which for the year 5785 begins on the evening of June 1. The Omer is a journey in self-transformation to prepare ourselves to receive new Torah on Shavuot night.
There is a custom during Omer to focus on the different Divine attributes and how to actualize them in our lives. We will be discussing and studying one of these attributes every week in our Thursday morning class until Shavuot.
