Family Volunteer Day at The ARK
The ARK is a not-for-profit, community-funded, social service agency that “creates a safety net for Chicagoland Jews in need of help … and kindness. It works with each person or family in distress to create a unique and comprehensive care plan that draws upon The ARK’s wide array of free social and medical services.” The ARK is a partner of the Chicago Jewish United Fund, JUF. (The description is from the JUF’s Jewish Chicago magazine.)
On Sunday, October 25, at 1:30pm, please join others from the Har Zion family to volunteer at The Ark.
Send email to Har Zion Director of Education David Schwartz, dschwartz@wsthz.org, or Alison Newman, akrnewman@aol.com, for details or to sign up.
