Yom Ha’Atzmaut Concert – Hearts & Voices for Israel

Join us for a Yom Ha’Atzmaut Concert, Thursday, May 1, 7pm, in celebration of Israel’s 77th birthday. Five congregations in the Western suburbs—Oak Park Temple, Temple B’nai Israel of Aurora, Congregation Beth Shalom of Naperville, Etz Chaim of Lombard, and Har Zion—will come together for this special event.

The concert features the Kol Zimrah Jewish Community Singers, conducted by Jonathan Miller. Soloists for the evening are: Cantor Stewart Figa of Temple Har Zion, Cantor Agnes Valdman of Oak Park Temple, and Marla Aviva Bentley of Congregation Etz Chaim.

This Yom Ha’Atzmaut concert is free to attend. Help us raise funds for Magen David Adom (MDA) to purchase AED Kiosks for installation in Israel. MDA is Israel’s national disaster, emergency medical, ambulance, and blood bank service.

You must register to attend the concert. Security will be present and checking registration. Please print your registration confirmation email. This email is your concert admission pass. All adults attending must have a state-issued photo ID with a name that matches their registration. All minors must register and be accompanied by a parent, or guardian, who is registered.
