November, 2026, Har Zion Herald — Antisemitism
The major focus of the November issue of the Har Zion Herald is Antisemitism and Community. The current rise of antisemitism—abroad, in the US, and even here in our own neighborhood. (See Rabbi Glick’s article on the front page; and be sure to vote!)
There is also, of course, information on the events, programs, and services coming up in November, including the first of our Sunday Discussions, a talk by American Jewish Committee Chicago’s regional director, Sarah van Loon, on Jews in the US, in honor of the United State’s 250th anniversary this year,
Hanukkah begins early this year, on December 4, the first Friday in December. And are we partying here at Har Zion! Put our Saturday, December 5, “Shining Lights” Hanukkah party in your calendar now; there will be lots of fun for everyone!
And remember, the text in the reddish orange in the online version of the Herald is web links to further information. Check them out!
Thank you to minyanaire and long time Har Zion member Vladimir Tsesis for supporting — again!— the production of this issue of the Herald!
