A Binding Truth
The Har Zion Social Action Committee presents the documentary film A Binding Truth, the true story of two men who where high school classmates in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1965—Jimmie Lee Kirkpatrick, a Black football star, and De Kirkpatrick, a white student who respected Jimmie Lee from afar. Jimmie Lee and De came together 50 years later as they found themselves bound together by a history stretching back more than 150 years. It is a story of healing from a troubling past.
