Temple Har Zion Lay Leadership
Har Zion could not function without their dedication and support.
The Temple Har Zion lay leadership works closely with Rabbi Glick, Cantor Figa, and the temple staff. We solicit nominations from for any open lay leadership offices in December. The lay leadership for each secular year is installed during the Har Zion Annual Congregational Meeting in January.
Please note: Our current by-laws require elected officers and board members to be Jewish members in good standing. Any Har Zion member, Jewish or not, can serve on volunteer committees (with the exception of the chair of committees concerned with religious practice.) See Volunteer Committees for more information.
Are you interested in getting more involved in the Temple? We hope so, and we need you!
We are always looking for Har Zion members who have the passion, drive, and vision to help strengthen and grow our community. There is always a need for new ideas, perspectives, expertise. The board also works best when it is a full and representative sampling of our temple community: new members, long-time members, members with children, empty nesters, members who have served in Temple leadership in the past and those who are interested in getting involved for the first time. Contact the temple office (office@wsthz.org and 708.366.9000) if you are interested.
Please consider getting involved!
