A Binding Truth
The Har Zion Social Action Committee presents the documentary film A Binding Truth, the true story of two men who where high school classmates in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1965—Jimmie Lee Fitzpatrick, a Black football star, and De Fitzpatric, a white student who respected Jimmie Lee from afar. The two men came together 50 years later, as they found themselves bound together by a history of slavery that stretched back more than 150 years. It is a story of healing from a troubling past.
