May, 2026, Har Zion Herald

Rabbi Glick’s front page article in the May edition of the Har Zion Herald again sets the theme of the issue or the Har Zion Herald— the importance of generations, community, and participation.

In Rabbi Glick’s article, “The Beauty Of Our Multi-Generational Community,” are his thoughts inspired by a past Har Zion fall Back-to-Shul BBQ (Friday, August 28th this year; please come!), Cantor Figa remembers American conductor, composer, and pianist, Michael Tilson Thomas (z”l) how honoring of his grandparents, famous Yiddish singers Boris and Bessie Thomashefsky. Both Koven Religious School principal David Schwartz and preschool Director Claudine Guralnick give thanks to the generaltions of people who have contributed to the education and development of our children this year.

And of course, there is the month At-a Glance on page 15, but, as it turned out, there have been a number of adult educations programs added since the Herald was finished, so be sure to look at the Activity Calendar to see what else is coming up!

And remember, the text in the reddish orange in the online version of the Herald is web links to further information. Check them out!
