High Holy Day Resources for Children

A parent or responsible adult must remain on the Har Zion campus while their children are in Har Zion’s care.

These programs/services are in person only and all (except Camp Shana Tovah programming for teens) require prior registration.

Har Zion offers:

Children’s Services in Camp Shana Tovah
  • Camp Shana Tovah age-appropriate morning services for preschool children.
    • 10-10:30am On the first day of Rosh Hashanah, Saturday, September 12, and on Yom Kippur, Monday September 21
    • A registered parent or other responsible adult must attend the Camp Shana Tovah services with their preschool children.
  • Camp Shana Tovah morning services for school-aged children in grades K-7 (before b’nai mitzvah):
    • 11am-12:15pm On both mornings of Rosh Hashanah Saturday-Sunday, September 12-13, and on Yom Kippur, Monday, September 21.
  • Special programming for teens through Camp Shana Tovah
    • On both mornings of Rosh Hashanah, Saturday-Sunday, September 12-13, and on Yom Kippur, Monday, September 21.

And Childcare
  • Childcare is available during all days of Awe Services: Erev Rosh Hashanah, both Rosh Hashanah morning services, Kol Nidre service, and for the morning and afternoon/evening services on Yom Kippur. There are two tracks:
    • Childcare children ages 18 months to 5 years, and separately,
    • Childcare for school-aged children in grades K-7 (before b’nai mitzvah)
  • A registered parent or other responsible adult must remain in the Har Zion building at all times that their child(ren) are in our care.
