Thursday Morning Learning with Rabbi Glick: Stories of Abraham and Sarah
Join Rabbi Glick on Thursday mornings to learn more about Judaism.
Torah Stories of Abraham and Sarah from the Original Hebrew
This fall, beginning on October 15, Rabbi Glick will open up the Hebrew of the Torah’s stories of Abraham and Sarah, beginning with chapter 12 of Genesis. Line by line, we will discover the world within the Hebrew and translate the verses to connect with their origin millenia ago, devoid of the layers of translation and modern context. Those studying Hebrew are welcome but no Hebrew knowledge is required to access the class. Bring an open mind, an eye for detail, and be prepared to discover a more pared down but powerful view of the stories of our people.
In person or Zoom ID# 990 415 095, with Har Zion password. (Call 708-366-9000 or email the office during regular business hours if you need the password.)
THURSDAYS, 10-11AM, IN PERSON AND ON ZOOM. Previous sessions on Har Zion YouTube.
