Rosh Hashanah Schedule/Service
Har Zion members in good standing are automatically eligible for High Holy Day tickets; pick them up from the usher station when you arrive for your first High Holy Day service. Most others must purchase tickets.

- 6pm-7pm – Childcare for preschool children ages 18 months-5 years (to end of service)
- 6:12pm – Candle lighting (River Forest)
- 6-7pm – Erev Rosh Hashanah Service
Thursday, October 3, 2024 • 1 Tishrei 5785
- 8:45am-2pm – Rosh Hashanah Services | Shacharit
- 9:30am-10am – Camp Shana Tovah Service for preschool with a responsible adult
- 9:30am-1pm – Childcare for preschool children ages 18 months-5 years
- 10:45am-12:15pm – Camp Shana Tovah Service for K-6 school-age children, followed by supervision
- About 2:30-3:30pm – Tashlish at Thatcher Glen Pond, Thatcher Woods, entrance to parking is on Chicago Ave, just between Thatcher and 1st Avenue; location on Google Maps
- 7:10pm – Candle lighting (River Forest)
