Har Zion is our extended family; where our three generations find peace, friendships, and deepen our learning.

Friedman/Slade Families

My husband and I came to Har Zion last year for a community Passover Seder. We received a warm welcome from Rabbi Glick and instantly felt at home... It had been many years since we were last affiliated with a temple and decided to join... HZ has enriched our lives greatly...

Jennifer & Jeffrey Levitt

Growing up, WSTHZ was always a place that felt like “home” for me. Reconnecting with this community as an adult with an interfaith family has been wonderful. Everyone has been so welcoming and our children have made many new friends.

Hello! We are the Callone family. We moved to Oak Park in 2021 and have called Har Zion our spiritual home ever since! Our son, Tal will start at the Preschool in the fall. We wish for him to be surrounded by Jewish values and to grow in a community that loves him.

Callone Family

When one enters the shul, one immediately feels welcomed. It has to do with the inviting smile and handshake of the Rabbi, the Cantor, and the pre-school leader and her team of dedicated teachers who prepare meticulous and inspiring programs for kids with an emphasis on holidays.
