Purim and the Annual Har Zion Purim Carnival

Purim and the Annual Har Zion Purim Carnival

The celebration is on Sunday, March 24, which is Purim this year (14th of Adar II)!

The morning is still in the planning stages, but it will begin with a Purim service and Megillah reading (most likely).

What is sure is that our annual Purim carnival will begin at 11am. We will have carnival games, the ever-popular USY pie-in–the–face booth, face painting, and crafts. Enjoy our yummy carnival food including popcorn, cotton candy, hamantaschen, and pizza. Kids, dress up in costume and join our parade and costume contest! Everyone will receive a prize for participating. Special costume prizes will be awarded for most creative, funniest, best Purim character, etc.

We need lots of volunteers to make this festival a success! Anyone in seventh grade or older can volunteer to run a game, sell food, sell tickets, set–up, cleanup, etc. Volunteers are needed to help set up on Saturday night and work the carnival and cleanup on Sunday between 10:45 AM and 1:30 PM.

Details to come!
